Patrick Hamrick January 1699/1700

Patrick most likely arrived in America in January 1699/1700. Evidence suggests that he first stepped ashore in Westmoreland County, Virginia at a port on the Nomini River.

The date and place of Patrick’s arrival is based on his subsequent appearance in Westmoreland County court. (REF: February 28, 1699/1700 a.) Ships arriving in Westmoreland County, Virginia were required by law to use a port located at the mouth of the Nomini River.(1)
